Once a pro drummer with gospel legends like Kirk Franklin and Donnie McClurkin, Dr. Black answered God’s call to ministry—earning degrees from NYACK College, Liberty University, and a Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian University.

As founder of Total Worship Center, the Gideon’s Circle mentorship program, and three online academies, Dr. Black continues to innovate in faith-based education and leadership. In 2022, he launched DAKA—a national network of churches united in gospel-driven mission.
